We are currently seeking experienced Retail Security Officers who can work on a casual capacity in retail and Liquor store environment.
Applicants must be confident in their skills to de-escalate situations using verbal communication and body language and Have experience in taking control of situations and supporting retail workers.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Reporting into the onsite Store management, Z Protection Services staff & Client Delivery Manager, the Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers & patrons of the stores. The successful candidate will have the flexibility to work as a Casual and previous experience as retail security officer is highly desirable.
Skills and experience
To Be Successful for this role; you will possess the following;
* Current VIC Security License
* Current First Aid Certificate
* Current Police Check no older than 3 months
* Proven experience in retail security and Customer Service industries.
* Excellent presentation and grooming standards
* A Positive and Proactive Approach
* Passion for delivering professional and efficient customer service
* Evening & weekend availability are essential for part time employees.
* Strong written communication skills, including incident report writing.
* Ability to multi task and work autonomously in high paced team environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Be vigilant to possible swarming incidents
* conduct high visibility patrols within the store
* Instant Incident reporting.
* Provide great customer Service.
* Report any form of anti social behavior to Vic Pol.
* Operate the key controller on the entry/exit door.
* Ability to Use Body worn Cameras.
* Reporting incidents immediately after the incident.
