**Job Opportunity: Training and Competency Specialist**
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced training professional to lead the delivery of all operations-based training at our Mardie site. This role involves assessing training needs, developing practical learning materials, and ensuring that all training meets organizational and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and deliver engaging training programs for site inductions, safety procedures, operator assessments, and Verification of Competency (VOC) sessions.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to plan and coordinate training schedules, recommend external courses, and evaluate the effectiveness of training delivered.
3. Maintain high-quality training documentation and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in training and operations, backed by at least five years of experience in mining or processing operations. You will hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and have demonstrated capability in developing, reviewing, and maintaining high-quality training documentation.
You must also possess strong computer skills across Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint) and proficiency in eLearning tools such as Articulate. Additionally, you should be able to operate and maintain 4WD vehicles and have familiarity with INX Learning Management Systems.
