Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership & People Management:
* Lead, coach, and motivate a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care
* Foster a positive, collaborative, and values-driven team culture
* Manage staff performance, recruitment, onboarding, and retention
* Ensure all team members are supported through education and development

2. Operational & Financial Management:
* Oversee day-to-day operations, including rostering, resourcing, and facilities upkeep
* Develop and manage budgets, monitor KPIs, and ensure financial sustainability
* Maintain occupancy rates through effective admissions and resident engagement
* Ensure efficient use of staffing and resources without compromising care quality

3. Clinical Governance & Compliance:
* Ensure adherence to Aged Care Quality Standards and legislative requirements
* Oversee clinical risk management, audits, and incident reporting processes
* Collaborate with clinical care teams to ensure care plans are accurate, current, and effective
* Monitor infection control, medication management, and resident safety protocols

4. Resident & Family Engagement:
* Promote a culture of resident dignity, independence, and wellbeing
* Act as a key point of contact for residents and families, addressing concerns proactively
* Create a welcoming, home-like environment and inclusive community
* Organise and support meaningful lifestyle and engagement programs
