Job Description:
As a Supply Chain Specialist - Contract Management, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize procurement processes, managing contracts, and coordinating with remote teams across different time zones. Your primary goal will be to ensure that business units have the necessary resources, when they need them, and at the right price. You will achieve this by liaising with internal customers to understand their requirements and utilizing third-party partners to deliver outcomes.
Typical Tasks:
• Participate in strategy development for relevant sourcing activities
• Assist in developing and/or coordinating scope of work writing for contracts
• Assist in developing evaluation scorecards and participate in technical evaluations of tenders
• Manage contract register to ensure projects are executed on time to replace expiring contracts
• Establish and manage appropriate relationships with internal stakeholders by being the key point for end-user queries
• Ensure escalations, invoice price adherence, and budget compliance are properly reviewed
• Assist and guide regarding pricing escalations and adjustments
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will have:
• Tertiary qualification in a commercial, legal, or engineering-related discipline
• Several years' experience in a similar role in contract management, supply chain, or commercial teams
• Experience in drafting and/or managing contracts, major equipment contracts, site services, and support contracts
• Extensive experience using computerized ERP systems; SAP proficiency is highly regarded
• Ability to work with and coordinate remote team members across different time zones
