Job Summary
Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated IT Technician to join our Information Technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end maintenance, repair, and security of our hardware systems and computer networks to ensure peak operational performance. You will join a dedicated technical team focused on driving organizational innovation and embedding consistent global IT processes.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will:
* Maintain System Integrity: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair desktops, laptops, and servers to provide fully operational hardware and software environments.
* Collaborate on Asset Lifecycle: Partner with internal stakeholders to manage inventory levels and execute secure data sanitization in compliance with regulatory standards.
* Ensure Operational Excellence: Implement routine system updates, patch management, and preventative health checks to minimize downtime and adhere to security policies.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
* 2+ years of experience in an IT helpdesk or technician role.
* Strong knowledge of hardware technology, including servers, PC desktops, printers, and data sanitization concepts.
* Proven ability in analytical problem-solving and providing user-friendly technical support.
* University degree or diploma, a valid Heavy Rigid (HR) driving license, and Australian Citizenship.
