Underwriter Mergers and Acquisitions

This innovative underwriting agency specialises in sourcing, underwriting, and deploying capital for leading insurers.

With full autonomy over policy management, it consistently delivers outstanding results.

Your new role will be to dive into underwriting M&A transactions and tax liability risks, while skilfully negotiating policies.

You will also analyse sale and purchase agreements and due diligence materials with a keen eye for detail.

Furthermore, you will forge and maintain strong connections with brokers and clients.

Additionally, you will partner with lawyers, investment banks, fund managers, accounting firms, and private equity firms to cultivate relationships and deliver tailored TL solutions.

You will craft bespoke solutions by leveraging underwriting parameters and policies, using your expertise to attract new business and retain existing clients.

You will keep a close watch on premiums, costs, and claims ratios per contract, taking corrective actions to ensure long-term profitability.

Lastly, you will assess appropriate risk premiums by considering various factors such as risk costs, reinsurance cessions, capital exposure, and administrative costs, utilising rating models to ensure profitability.


Requirements

* Experience in Mergers and Acquisitions: Bring your corporate/tax M&A experience from top accounting firms, law firms, or investment banks, with a deep understanding of M&A deal processes.
* Analytical Prowess: Showcase your strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Exceptional Communication: Excel in both oral and written communication, confidently presenting to clients and diverse audiences.
