Job Title:
Public Relations and Media Officer
We are seeking a highly skilled Public Relations and Media Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and maintaining the excellent reputation of Xavier Catholic College in the local community, across the Diocese of Wagga Wagga online and across all media platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement effective public relations strategies to promote the college's image and reputation.
* Manage the college's social media presence and create engaging content to attract and retain followers.
* Write and distribute press releases, media statements and other communications to ensure the college's message is heard by the right people.
* Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including parents, staff, students, media and community groups.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or Journalism or related field.
* Proven experience in public relations, marketing or communications.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
