Position Criteria
* Qualifications to teach Science Stages 4–6
* Strong knowledge of explicit teaching and evidence‐based approaches to Science learning
* Ability to differentiate and cater for diverse student needs to maximise learning
* Solid understanding of effective learning environments, lesson design, technology use, assessment and feedback
* Commitment to ongoing professional growth and continual improvement of practice
* Collaborative, creative team member who sets high expectations for self and students
* Able to inspire and motivate students to achieve and develop a love of learning
* Ability to teach Physics, Mathematics and/or Religious Education is an advantage
Qualifications, Accreditations & Experience
* Tertiary Qualification in Education (or fourth year student)
* NESA Accreditation (Conditional Accreditation also accepted)
* Statements of Service
* Commitment to meeting CSPD's Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead requirements as part of employment
This position involves working with children.
