As the Events Coordinator at Melbourne Law School, you'll play a pivotal role in planning and executing key events that support the school's strategic goals.
You'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of stakeholders, from academic leaders to external partners, while honing your event management skills in a prestigious academic environment.

Your responsibilities will include:
End-to-End Event Coordination: Plan, coordinate, promote, deliver, and evaluate a range of events aligned with strategic objectives.Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure events meet diverse audience needs and leverage content across all channels.Budget and Timeline Management: Ensure events are delivered on time and within budget, adhering to University and Divisional policies.Cross-Functional Support: Contribute to broader communications and marketing activities within the Divisional Grouping team.You may be a great fit if:
You are a dedicated event professional with a degree and relevant experience, possessing strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build positive relationships at all levels while working both independently and collaboratively.
You may also:
Have experience coordinating high-profile events and managing external contractors.Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Demonstrate strong time management and the ability to prioritise workloads across teams.Be comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines.Have experience working in large, complex organisations.Be proficient in project management and finance systems.What we offer you!

The Vice-President (Advancement, Communications and Marketing) leads the Advancement, Communications and Marketing team.
Advancement works with colleagues across the University and its affiliates to facilitate mutually beneficial relationships between the University and its alumni, friends and benefactors.
Communications and Marketing formulates and leads strategies in support of the University of Melbourne's overarching strategic plan, Advancing Melbourne.
