Job Title: Senior Asset Engineer
As a Senior Asset Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the reliability and efficiency of our network. You will be accountable for developing and applying best maintenance engineering practices to deliver optimal life cycle performance of transmission substation assets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and apply best maintenance engineering practices to ensure optimal life cycle performance of transmission substation assets.
* Take accountability for safety, ensuring safe work practices and hazard control for staff and contractors.
* Proactively maintain network assets to ensure reliability.
* Manage change effectively, introducing new technologies, systems, procedures, and digital asset management practices to improve efficiency and outcomes.
* Conduct technical analysis of asset performance and network maintenance needs.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or civil structural engineering - essential.
* Eligible for Professional Engineer membership with Engineers Australia.
* Significant engineering industry experience (at least 10 years) in preferably operation and maintenance areas.
* Demonstrated commitment to safety.
* Ability to relate tasks to the "big picture" and communicate accordingly.
