The Role
This is a practical Mechanical Trade Assistant role supporting the onsite diesel mechanic across workshop and field-based maintenance activities. You'll assist with routine servicing, preventative maintenance and minor repairs while helping keep the workshop and site running smoothly and safely.

The Hours, Roster & Overtime
* Monday-Friday (5:2 roster)
* Around 8 hours per day
* Flexible start and finish times
* No weekend work required
Your Skills & Experience
Essential
* Practical mechanical aptitude and confidence using tools
* Victorian manual driver's licence
* Interest in heavy vehicles and mechanical work
* Ability to follow instructions and work safely
* Positive attitude and team-first mindset
Highly Regarded
* Previous TA, offsider or hands-on mechanical experience
* HR licence
* Mechanical trade training or heavy industry exposure
