We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team as an Area Sales Manager. This role offers significant growth potential, allowing you to shape and influence the future of our Environmental Treatment Solutions (ETS) division in Victoria.
* This new role focuses on building new accounts and driving business development in the hazardous waste sector.
* As the first ETS employee in Melbourne, you will work closely with the NSW-based team, assisting with tender preparation, ensuring consistency, and growing the business across multiple opportunities.
The Role:
Main Responsibilities
* Focus on securing new contracts and identifying growth opportunities in Victoria.
* Lead and assist with tender preparation and submission.
* Work with operational teams to meet client requirements and ensure satisfaction.
* Contribute to a high-performing team, meeting HSE&Q and performance goals.
* Maintain clear, open communication with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
* Actively pursue new business in hazardous/packaged waste sectors to drive growth.
* Support national business development as needed to drive strategic growth.
What You Bring:
* Salesforce/CRM experience and strong sales process background.
* B2B sales experience, ideally in the waste management or hazardous goods industries.
* A hunter mentality focused on new business acquisition through direct sales efforts.
* Experience in tender preparation and submission.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to close deals and support long-term partnerships.
* Ability to work autonomously, manage your own schedule, and report activity digitally.
