We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to drive innovation in digital and sustainable infrastructure. As a key member of our team, you will support design reviews, update standards, implement the Engineering Assurance framework, and provide technical expertise.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural design, with experience in water retaining structures and a demonstrated ability to challenge industry standards. You will be responsible for assisting in the identification, creation, and management of technical specifications, standards, and guidelines related to structural engineering.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in evaluating innovation in structural engineering aspects and maintaining oversight over technical guidelines, standards, and specifications.
- Provide input to the definition of information, insights, data, systems, models, and tools required for engineering and facilitate the exchange of knowledge and information.
- Assist in the identification, creation, and active management of technical specifications, standards, and guidelines related to structural engineering.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil or Structural discipline, recognized under the Washington Accord or Engineers Australia, with relevant experience in structural engineering.
- A driver's license (C class).
- Approximately five (5) years of experience predominantly in structural design.
- Demonstrated experience in structural design of water retaining structures.
- Ability to investigate and challenge Sydney Water standards, Australian and international standards, and industry practice to ensure innovative solutions.
- Exposure in working in a multi-disciplinary design team.
