This includes overseeing student administration processes such as enrolments, compliance with legislative requirements, census reporting, and records management. The MCS also supports the development and implementation of administrative procedures, liaises with stakeholders, and represents the Executive Management Team on college committees.Financial management is a key responsibility of the MCS, who is accountable for forecasting, budgeting, monitoring financial performance, and ensuring the integrity of the college’s financial operations. This includes compliance with relevant legislation and standards, managing investments and insurance, overseeing contract negotiations, and developing financial guidelines and controls. The MCS also provides strategic oversight of physical resources, including facilities maintenance, asset management, and capital works planning, while ensuring health and safety requirements are met.In addition, the MCS leads human resource management across the college, supporting workforce planning, recruitment, performance development, and compliance with Public Sector HR standards. The role also encompasses Information and Communication Technology (ICT) oversight—ensuring systems meet operational needs and adhere to policy—and leads the college’s communications, marketing, and public relations strategies.
