Job Title: HR Driver
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating HR trucks to transport equipment, materials, and green waste between job sites and depots. This role requires proven experience operating HR vehicles in a commercial environment, knowledge of load restraint and safe handling practices, and understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements.
* Operate HR trucks to transport machinery, tools, and vegetation waste between job sites and depots.
* Assist with loading/unloading equipment and materials, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution.
* Perform daily pre-start checks and routine vehicle maintenance.
* Comply with traffic laws, company policies, and CoR requirements.
* Maintain accurate delivery logs, trip sheets, and inspection records.
* Support vegetation crews with site setup and pack-down.
* Report vehicle faults, incidents, or hazards promptly.
* Uphold workplace health, safety, and environmental standards.
Requirements:
* Current HR (Heavy Rigid) Driver's License.
* Proven experience operating HR vehicles in a commercial environment.
* Knowledge of load restraint and safe handling practices.
* Understanding of CoR and fatigue management regulations.
* Ability to work independently and within a team.
* Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
* Experience in tree vegetation maintenance or related industries.
* Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting.
* First Aid Certificate.
