CQUniversity is seeking dedicated Casual Learning Advisers to provide tailored tutorial assistance through the Indigenous Tutorial Assistance Program (ITAP). This is your opportunity to mentor students, guide their academic success, and contribute to an inclusive learning environment, providing personalised academic support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students studying STEPS, undergraduate, and postgraduate courses across various disciplines.

* Provide tailored tutorial assistance through ITAP.
* Mentor Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, guiding their academic success, and contributing to an inclusive learning environment.
* Provide personalised academic support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students studying STEPS, undergraduate, and postgraduate courses across various disciplines.

* Locations: Bundaberg, Cairns, Emerald, Gladstone, Mackay, Melbourne, Rockhampton, Sydney or Townsville (Negotiable - Excluding SEQ)
* Salary: Casual rates apply

Position Requirements
* A completed qualification at the level at which you are tutoring (minimum bachelor's degree for Bachelor-level coursework).
* Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and societies, and the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities.
* Currently hold or be eligible to obtain a Blue Card (Working with Children Positive Notice) to comply with the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 for regulated employment in education and care services.
