About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Engineering Manager to lead a team of talented software engineers. You will be responsible for driving technical excellence, fostering a collaborative team culture, and delivering high-quality software solutions using Python and Java.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing guidance on technical and career development.
* Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define and deliver product features.
* Ensure the team follows best practices in software design, development, testing, and deployment.
* Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, tools, and systems.
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to the codebase when necessary.
* Manage project timelines, risks, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
Requirements
* 2–3 years of experience managing or leading a software engineering team.
* Strong hands-on experience with Python and Java in production environments.
* Solid understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms.
* Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and deliver results.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices is a plus.
Nice to Have
* Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
* Background in system architecture or scalable backend systems.
