Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Victoria) Ltd is seeking to employ a Secondary Humanities Teacher to join the team at Heritage College. This is a full time, permanent position, open to graduates, commencing in Term 1, 2026.

The successful candidate will demonstrate that they:

- Plan, prepare and teach programs to achieve specific student outcomes
- Use critical reflection to improve the knowledge, learning and skills of students
- Use multiple sources of feedback on their classroom practice to inform their qualified learning goals
- Show a willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues to improve teaching and learning within the school and the wider Seventh-day Adventist school system
- Can support and actively promote, and not undermine, the Christian-based values and ethos of the College based on the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
- Have the capacity to teach the Australian curriculum in the context of the college's Christian-based ethos
- Be able to plan for and lead daily Christian-based class devotions to students

Requirements:

- Bachelor of Education
- VIT Registered Teacher

Screening Requirements:

- Reference checks will be undertaken including referencing your ability to work safely with children
- Position is subject to maintaining registration with VIT

Heritage College provides co-educational Christian education from 3 and 4-year-old Early Learning through to Year 12.

The salary range is $83-124k based on years of experience.
