OverviewTerritory Manager position based in the Goulburn Valley, Vic.
Based in the greater Shepparton area.
Servicing the Sunraysia region from Echuca to Batlow in addition to Tasmania.
Reporting to the Managing Director.
The primary focus of this Territory Manager role is to generate new business, leveraging referrals and identifying growth opportunities across the region.
The secondary objective is to provide agronomic support and training to existing clients, including face-to-face visits with orchard/irrigation managers and remote support via phone or Zoom.You will be passionate about helping clients achieve better outcomes.
Agronomic decisions are based on sensor data from the client's operation, and Phytech will provide the necessary training to read the data.
You should be able to learn new concepts, demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills, and work with minimal supervision after training.Occasional outdoor work in orchard environments is required.
There is no heavy lifting, but you will engage in physical activities such as bending, kneeling, and reaching.
You will work autonomously from home or the Mildura office and undertake regular daily travel throughout the Sunraysia region, with occasional overnight stays.
A valid Australian driver's license is required.
An understanding of horticultural irrigation operation, maintenance or design is preferred.
Prior experience with horticultural organisations and sales or consultancy to the agricultural sector is highly regarded.Salary and benefits include a base salary and commission, plus a company vehicle, phone, computer and superannuation.At Phytech, we believe work should be meaningful.
