The Role
We are looking for a new team member to manage our much-loved store in Toowoomba.
As a Retail Site Manager, you will oversee the largest retail store in the Toowoomba regional Vinnies group, focusing on operational excellence and fostering an inspiring team culture. You will be responsible for the overall performance of the store, which includes budgeting, staff leadership, stock management, buying, and ordering. Your goal is to ensure that the location thrives.
This is a dynamic, hands‑on position where no two days look the same. This fast‑paced role suits someone passionate about sustainable fashion, commercial growth, and delivering standout customer experiences. You will bring strong people skills, operational know‑how, and a commitment to best practice, ensuring the store thrives and remains a valued part of its local community.

This is a Permanent, Full-time position (38 hours per week) role based in Toowoomba. This position will require some rostered weekend work.
What you'll bring
* Your experience – previous experience in retail, including merchandising, cash handling, workplace health and safety and effective communication skills.
* Relevant tertiary or TAFE qualification in Retail Operations or Business Management or equivalent industry experience
* Create business strategies to attract new customers, expand store traffic, and enhance profitability.
* An eye for sustainable fashion and repurposing with purpose – ensuring our customers find their next hidden treasure
* A passion for making a difference and supporting our companions to shop in a welcoming environment
* An appreciation for our volunteers and the role they play in supporting our retail operations
* A collaborative leadership style and an understanding that our people are our greatest asset
