The role of a Family Dispute Resolution Specialist is to deliver programs and provide services that focus on reducing risk and increasing child and family wellbeing. This involves providing counselling, mediation, casework, individual and group training to community and therapeutic support utilising a variety of intervention methods.

* Establish and maintain positive relationships between children and their parents, promoting shared parenting by separated couples.
* Engage children and families in interventions that reduce risk factors and enhance overall wellbeing.
* Deliver services in a flexible manner, adapting to the unique needs of each family.
About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled practitioner to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of families. The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Community Services or a related field, and experience in delivering Family Dispute Resolution, Counselling and Group Facilitation.

Responsibilities:

* Casework and file administration for complex cases.
* Manage client files and ensure comprehensive assessments are conducted before planned interventions.
* Provide expert advice and support to colleagues on complex cases within the Family Law Services.
Requirements:

* A Postgraduate Certificate in Mediation & Conflict Resolution or equivalent.
* An Individual Family Dispute Resolution Registration Number with the Attorney General's Department (AGD).
* A valid Driver's Licence and reliable transportation.
