Printer Technician

About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Printer Technician to join our fast-paced warehousing and print solutions team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with technology, and delivering excellent service to customers.
You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining a range of printers and multifunction devices, both in-house and onsite.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair hardware and software faults in printers and multifunction devices
Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and preventative checks
Set up, configure, and install printers for customers and internal use
Troubleshoot connectivity issues including Wi-Fi, network, and driver setups
Maintain accurate service records, logs, and reports
Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and onsite visits
Order parts, track inventory, and manage service stock
Assist with testing, refurbishing, and preparing printers for sale or deployment
Work closely with the warehouse and solutions teams to ensure smooth operations
Ensure all work complies with WHS and company safety standards
Skills & Experience
Previous experience repairing or servicing printers or the like (preferred but not essential)
Strong technical and mechanical aptitude
Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues confidently
Knowledge of Windows environments, print drivers, and network printing
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Current driver's licence (for onsite service work)
Ability to manage time, prioritise tasks, and work independently
WWVP is a must
