Over the duration of your apprenticeship, you will eventually be able to:Get hands-on experience working on a wide range of mobile equipment - from light vehicles and forklifts to big gear like dump trucks, loaders, and excavatorsCarry out regular servicing and preventive maintenance to keep equipment running at its bestLearn how to use a variety of tools - from basic hand tools to powered tools and equipmentTroubleshoot and fix breakdowns using problem-solving and fault-finding skillsUse modern maintenance software (CMMS) to manage work orders and keep accurate recordsBe part of daily toolbox talks and safety checks before work startsBuild your skills to work both independently and as part of a supportive teamAlways put safety first and learn how to apply safe work practices in every taskWhat You'll BringYou have completed or are currently completing a minimum Year 10 with passes in Maths and EnglishYou ideally are enrolled in or have completed Cert I or II EngineeringYou have good communication skills and the ability to work well in a teamYou have a genuine interest in your chosen tradeYou bring a positive attitude, a love of learning and a willingness to tackle whatever comes your wayWhat's on Offer?
