Working across both corporate and franchise operations nationwide, you will provide direction and technical expertise to ensure IT consistently supports organisational goals.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer, you will deliver structured insights on performance, risks and opportunities, ensuring technology is a reliable driver of growth.Key Responsibilities Develop and implement the organisation's IT strategy in line with business objectivesOversee the management, maintenance and security of all IT systems, applications, networks and databasesEnsure systems are scalable, reliable and aligned with industry best practiceLead the selection, implementation and integration of new technologies and platformsEstablish and enforce IT security policies and protocols to safeguard data and systemsManage risk assessments, disaster recovery planning and business continuity strategiesEnsure compliance with all relevant legislation, standards and data protection regulationsLead, mentor and develop the IT team to foster accountability, capability and continuous learningAllocate resources effectively to support business prioritiesConduct quarterly vulnerability scans and report findings as requiredImplement phishing campaigns and run educational sessions to promote cybersecurity awarenessAbout You Minimum of three years' experience leading an IT helpdesk or infrastructure teamProven experience in a retail, QSR or multi-site hospitality technology environment (essential)Strong understanding of cybersecurity practices, including Essential 8, ISO27001 and PCI DSSKnowledge of data privacy practices and lawsDemonstrated success in IT infrastructure planning and developmentStrong understanding of project management and people management principlesExperience negotiating with technology suppliersExperience within a franchise or distributed network environment will be highly regardedQualifications University degree in computer science, information systems or a related field, with at least three years of relevant work experienceCertifications in ITIL and project management are advantageousWhat You Will Bring Hands-on experience in IT infrastructure and service deliveryProven ability to lead and mentor a team while maintaining high performance standardsStrong stakeholder management and communication skills across executive and operational levelsAnalytical mindset with the ability to assess risks, improve processes and ensure reliable operationsSolid knowledge of compliance requirements, cybersecurity frameworks and industry best practiceWhat's on Offer A Head of IT role with genuine influence and impact across the organisationThe opportunity to shape IT operations during a significant growth phaseA supportive and collaborative leadership cultureA competitive remuneration package of $150k + SuperHow to Apply Cadence Connect is managing this recruitment exclusively.
