The Role
This position reports to the Supervisor - Condition Monitoring. You will monitor, maintain, repair and improve the oil and grease systems across the Copper Concentrator to maximize plant life and availability. This is a residentially based position in Mount Isa working a Monday to Friday day shift roster. You may occasionally be required to work additional hours to suit business needs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Promoting and reinforcing a culture of safety, operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Works including, monitoring, maintaining, repair and improved the oil and grease systems
Perform routine condition monitoring inspections/surveys and analysis
Maintain a high level of housekeeping
You will have the following skillset and attributes:
Minimum experience of 3 years within the mining industry is preferred.
Trade qualification – Fitter (Mechanical) essential
Current manual driver's license
Experience with lubrication and hydraulic systems - SAG/Ball Mills an advantage
Experience with oil analysis and condition monitoring
Experience with lubrication, thermography, and/or ultrasound technologies advantageous.
Sound computer skills
A demonstrated commitment to safety
A self-motivated attitude and enjoy working in small yet highly productive teams
The ability to adapt to change in duties from day to day

Level 1 qualification in Machine Lubricant Analyst (MLA1)
