 
        
        About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and versatile Chef to join our team. This role starts as a casual position with a minimum of 25–30 hours per week and has the potential to grow into a full-time opportunity for the right candidate.
You will work closely with our Head Chef, supporting the day-to-day running of the café kitchen, assisting with catering orders, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
 * Assist the Head Chef with daily food preparation and service.
 * Carry out basic café kitchen tasks, including breakfast and lunch service.
 * Support catering production for events and functions.
 * Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and presentation.
 * Follow kitchen procedures and assist with stock rotation and ordering.
 * Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth operations.
About You
 * Previous experience in a café or catering environment (preferred, but not essential).
 * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
 * Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
 * Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
 * Flexibility to assist with catering shifts when required.

Pay: $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
