The role of Compliance Manager requires a professional with strong knowledge of Australian laws, regulations, and compliance frameworks as applicable to a general insurer. The individual should have 5-8 years' compliance experience in financial services, ideally with regulatory experience.

Key responsibilities include managing obligations and alerts, supporting the Compliance Framework, undertaking compliance impact assessments and breach reporting, providing training and liaising with stakeholders. This involves monitoring, interpreting, and assigning obligations and managing Youi's Obligations Register, processing alerts and completing regulatory impact assessments and managing the process for compliance attestations.

Another critical aspect is maintaining and enhancing Youi's Compliance Management Framework and associated policies and procedures. Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure awareness and management of their obligations and providing quality and timely advice are also essential duties.

Beyond these tasks, the Compliance Manager must undertake compliance impact assessments and breach reporting, promote a strong compliance culture, and support strategic compliance initiatives.

In addition to these qualifications, the ideal candidate will be commercially minded, adaptable, and proactive in identifying risks and opportunities. They must also have high integrity, professionalism, and commitment to ongoing development.

Youi offers a hybrid working model that allows employees to balance work-life flexibility. Employees can work from the office Tuesday to Thursday and remotely on Mondays and Fridays. This arrangement enables staff to maintain productivity while enjoying time with family and friends.
