The Opportunity Our New Business team is currently looking for an experienced Acceptance Manager who will be responsible for the Acceptance function for the Australian and New Zealand markets. This includes day-to-day operations, people management, target achievement and continuous process improvement. This is a full time, permanent contract based in Mulgrave, Melbourne. Additionally, the role is responsible for: The assessment and decision making for Retail Finance Acceptance for the Australian/New Zealand market of BMW Financial Services. Supporting the development and implementation of an Acceptance strategy specific for the Australian and New Zealand financial services market. Collaborating with our Sales and Risk teams to develop policies to responsibly maximise retail finance opportunities. Providing strong leadership across the Acceptance team, ensuring optimal business performance and compliance with Responsible Lending and all other relevant legislation, codes and regulations. Implementing an effective resource planning and allocation approach across the Acceptance team in consideration of changing volumes and workloads. Ensuring the team effectively process Acceptance volumes by analysing, assessing and making decisions on all retail finance applications in line with responsible lending requirements and BMWFS Retail guidelines. What you will bring to this role A tertiary qualification in Banking and Finance or equivalent required. Proven experience in Banking and Finance within an organisation that holds an Australian credit licence, including automotive industry finance. Extensive working knowledge of the Responsible Lending requirements for AU/NZ, Consumer Credit Protection Act, Anti-Money Laundering & Counter-Terrorism Financing Act and all other relevant automotive finance legislation and regulations. Excellent understanding of credit assessment and project implementation. Thorough knowledge of financial services key drivers, risk management, products and services. Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and guide high-performing teams.
