This Administration Assistant will work closely with all stakeholders, including head office and stores, to support the overall success of the business. They are instrumental in making sure the business runs smoothly on a day to day basis, ensuring resources and support are readily available at all times. This hands-on role requires strong communication and organisational skills as well as a can do attitude.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the smooth running of Head Office and retail stores
- Manage the incoming calls and directing as necessary
- Be across stationary and maintenance as required
- Prepare and communicate updates to stores
- Weekly reporting for the General Managers
- Calendar and travel management
- Assist with workplace portal and websites as required
- Be across couriers, warehousing and off-site facilities
Skills & experience
- Minimum 12 month experience in an Administration Assistant role
- Preferably from a retail background but not essential
- Ability to think quick and look for solutions
- Experience working with external partners
- Willingness to learn new skills and build relationships with wider team and suppliers
