About the Senior Solar & Battery Installer role
* Requires: A Grade Electrical License, SAA License, and strong solar and battery system installation experience as the Senior Solar & Battery Installer.
* Salary guide: $150,000 to $180,000 per annum with potential to exceed $250,000 through bonuses and additional work.
* Location: Inner suburbs of Perth, Western Australia.
What the Senior Solar & Battery Installer will do each day
* Review daily schedule and prepare vehicle with all necessary inverters, batteries, mounts, and tools.
* Execute full electrical scope for solar PV and battery systems including isolations, wiring, cabling termination, and compliance checks.
* Install and commission solar PV and battery systems in compliance with Australian Standards and SAA requirements.
* Conduct thorough testing and complete all relevant paperwork.
* Engage with customers, explaining system operation and ensuring a clean and tidy worksite.
* Maintain daily communication with office for job progress and materials scheduling.
* Complete up to five installs per week with opportunities for Saturday work and overtime to increase earnings.
* Grow into leadership roles such as Installation Manager mentoring junior installers.
