Key Responsibilities
* Plan, implement and evaluate engaging programs for children aged 5–12 years
* Foster positive relationships with children, families and staff
* Ensure a safe, nurturing, and supportive OSHC environment
* Comply with all Department for Education and National Quality Framework requirements
Essential Qualifications and Clearances
Applicants must hold the following:
* Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services (or actively working towards) or equivalent as recognised by ACECQA
* A Diploma in Children's Services is required for this position
* Current Department for Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check (WWCC)
* Child Safe Environments (Through Their Eyes) training (current or willing to obtain)
* All training certifications including Child Safe Environments and RRHAN-EC must be current at the time of application
* Current Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care (RRHAN-EC) Fundamentals and Masterclass
* Current First Aid certificate (including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis management) appropriate for an education and care setting
* Experience in OSHC or Early Childhood settings highly regarded
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required
