Our client is an Australian-owned AI infrastructure company powering private model deployment for 150 enterprise customers across regulated industries. They are scaling their Australian commercial team and need a technically sharp Sales Engineer to own the pre-sales motion and lead post-sales integrations.

This role suits an SE who wants to stay close to customers and complex deals without getting buried in implementation work. You will sit at the centre of every meaningful conversation they have in market.

The Opportunity

Pre and Post‐Sales Ownership

Run discovery, demos, and POCs alongside the BDM team, then lead integrations into customer environments with offshore engineering support.

Sell Genuinely Hard Tech

The platform runs 300+ AI models on private infrastructure for Healthcare, Financial Services, and Government. The technical conversations are real.

First Senior SE in Market

Shape how the Australian technical sales motion runs. You set the playbook, not inherit one.

150 customers globally and a 60/40 direct/partner mix already proving the model. Australia is the next growth chapter.

What You'll Bring

Pre‐Sales Track Record

3 to 6 years as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Solutions Consultant in technical SaaS. Data, security, or AI backgrounds preferred.

Customer‐Facing Depth

You run the room in technical workshops, demos, and architecture sessions with CTOs and Heads of AI.

Integration Fluency

Comfortable scoping integrations, working through APIs, containers, and cloud infrastructure with customer engineering teams.

Commercial Instinct

You understand that an SE is part of the sales motion, not adjacent to it. You move deals forward.
