are seeking an experienced
Leading Hand Carpenter/Supervisor
to join a growing custom residential builder with projects across the inner eastern and northern suburbs.
Our client is an emerging builder delivering bespoke new homes, renovations, and extensions valued up to $4m. With a strong pipeline of ongoing and upcoming projects, they're looking to bring a motivated and capable Leading Hand on board to support continued growth over the coming years.
They are looking for a Leading Hand who is skilled in carpentry and happy to be on the tools while assisting the Director to ensure the day-to-day operations run smoothly. This role has a view to become a Site Manager within the business, making it ideal for someone looking to progress.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting in leading in-house carpenters and subcontractors across multiple sites
* Planning daily and weekly tasks, allocating work, and monitoring progress
* Ordering and coordinating materials, tools, and equipment deliveries
* Maintaining site safety, compliance, and cleanliness
* Liaising with suppliers and the internal team
* Representing the builder professionally to clients, consultants, and trades
* Contributing on the tools as required to support your team and drive progress
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience across high-end/custom residential projects
* A proven ability to lead and motivate a team
* A strong understanding of construction sequencing, premium finishes, and site logistics
* The ability to manage multiple moving parts while maintaining quality and control
