About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and reliable technicians to join our growing automotive team. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician who takes pride in workmanship, values safety and compliance, and enjoys working in a fast-paced dealership or service centre environment.
You will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to manufacturer and company standards, ensuring a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform scheduled servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on vehicles
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools and equipment
* Conduct vehicle pre delivery inspections and identify additional repair or maintenance needs
* Complete job cards, inspection reports, and service documentation accurately
* Ensure all work complies with WHS and industry regulations
* Work collaboratively with service advisors, technicians, and workshop supervisors
* Participate in ongoing technical training when required
Requirements & Qualifications
Essential
* Trade qualification in Automotive Mechanical Technology (Certificate III or equivalent)
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
* Full Australian working rights (PR / Citizen / Valid Work Visa)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good attention to detail and time management skills
Desirable
* Experience working in a dealership environment
* Exposure to EV / Hybrid vehicles (training can be provided)
* Roadworthy Certificate (RWC) accreditation
* Experience with diagnostic software and electronic systems
