About the Company:
Central Queensland Fasteners is a reseller of industrial fasteners and associated products located on one of Rockhampton's major thoroughfares, Musgrave Street with the other store located in Tanby Road, Yeppoon. Our customer base covers Rockhampton and The Capricorn Coast and West out to Longreach.

What You'll Be Doing
Reporting directly to the Regional General Manager, you will be responsible for developing and optimising the operations, overall sales, and profitability of the business.
In pursuit of the role as described above, you will:
* Drive business growth through effective sales, marketing, and customer relationship strategies.
* Oversee purchasing, stock control, safety, and daily branch operations.
* Ensure outstanding customer service and product delivery standards.
* Manage performance, profitability, and efficiency across the profit centre.
* Maintain supplier and customer relationships, ensuring service excellence and business sustainability.
* Foster a strong safety culture and uphold company policies and compliance standards.
* Lead, mentor, and develop a dynamic, experienced team across sales, warehouse, and customer service.
What you'll need to succeed:
* Proven leadership experience - ideally in trade, industrial, or wholesale environments.
* A hands-on, approachable, and supportive management style.
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret financials and drive profitability.
* Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.
* Industry experience (fasteners, industrial supplies, or similar) highly desirable.
* Current Australian driver's licence (forklift licence desirable).
* Must be an Australian / New Zealand resident or citizen. Sponsorship is not offered for this role. (No temporary visas, unfortunately).
