CSL Australia is currently looking for a permanent full time Chief Engineer to join our transhipment vessel; Donnacona. This vessel operates in Cape Preston, Western Australia and is a 24/7 operation for our customer: CITIC Pacific Mining. Reporting to the Master, the Chief Engineer is the head of the Engine Department.

The First Engineer will be responsible for:
- The implementation of protected working practices within the Engine Department as a member of the Shipboard Management Team;
- Deputising the Chief Engineer in the event of their absence, accident or illness;
- Any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Company.
- Educational requirement: as per AMSA Marine Order 72 – Engineer Class 2 (required)
- AMSA Engineer (Class 2) CoC/CoR Unlimited
- Minimum 12 months sea time as an Engine Watchkeeper(required)
- Certificate of Safety Training (STCW) (desirable)
- Work Safely at Heights Certification (desirable)
- Enter and Work in Confined Space Certification (desirable)
- Hold, or be eligible to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) (required)
- Australian Citizen or unlimited Australian Working Rights
- Living in Australia
- Be comfortable wearing a respirator
