Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to lead our kitchen team and deliver high-quality dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have strong culinary expertise, creativity in menu design, and the ability to maintain the highest standards of food preparation, presentation, and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and execute a variety of high-quality dishes in line with restaurant standards.
Create seasonal menus, incorporating fresh and locally sourced ingredients.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing training, mentoring, and performance feedback.
Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all dishes.
Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
Enforce strict hygiene, health, and safety standards in the kitchen.
Collaborate with management on new recipes, specials, and customer feedback.
Maintain smooth coordination with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef or Sous Chef in a fine dining or high-volume restaurant.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety regulations.
Creative flair for menu development and plating.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Formal culinary training or equivalent experience preferred.
