Community Support Worker - Mounties Care Coomera QLD
Join Mounties Group as a Community Support Worker to provide in‑home care and support clients across Coomera, QLD on a casual or part‑time basis.
About The Role
We are looking for a nurturing and compassionate support worker who will:
* Accompany clients during daily activities, running errands and going on outings
* Prepare food and manage shopping
* Assist with personal care and hygiene such as showering and dressing
* Perform household tasks including cleaning, washing and folding clothes
* Provide social interaction and companionship
* Transport clients to appointments
About You
* Hold a Certificate III in Individual Support or a similar qualification (essential)
* Have at least one year of experience in aged care or disability care
* Hold an NDIS clearance or be willing to obtain one
* Hold a COVID‑19 vaccination record
* Have a current Police Check or be willing to obtain one
* Hold a current First Aid Certificate including CPR or be willing to obtain one
* Own a car with relevant insurance
* Possess a dementia care qualification is desirable
* Have proficient verbal and written communication skills
