Executive Director, Energy Efficiency Target Reform
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Energy Efficiency Target Reform.
This senior leadership role is pivotal in driving the development and implementation of policy settings, regulatory and legislative reforms, and initiatives that support electrification and deliver energy efficiency and savings to households and businesses.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the strategic direction and delivery of the government's flagship emissions reduction and energy efficiency initiative.
Key to this position is the ability to develop and maintain strategic relationships with a range of stakeholders, including business and industry, the program's regulator, consumer groups, and other government entities.
Candidates for this influential role should have a proven track record of executive leadership in a complex organization, with a focus on financial accountability.
Deep knowledge of energy markets, particularly in government or relevant industry environments, is highly desirable.
The role demands a highly motivated individual who is committed to empowering the community to access clean and affordable energy.
A tertiary degree or qualification in law, economics, commerce, engineering, or public administration is also a requirement.
The Executive Director will lead a division of approximately forty-five professional and dedicated staff, and as such, strong leadership and management skills are essential.
