Postdoctoral Fellow in Machine Learning Applications

The School of Photovoltaic and Renewable Energy Engineering has a unique opportunity for a researcher with expertise in machine learning and deep learning to join their team. As a Postdoctoral Fellow, you will be responsible for developing and implementing machine learning algorithms for dynamic systems, with a focus on renewable energy applications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement machine learning and deep learning algorithms for dynamic systems.
* Conduct research in machine learning and deep learning for renewable energy applications.
* Collaborate with the research team to develop and maintain data engineering pipelines.
* Provide technical support for industry partners and contribute to writing scientific papers and reports.
Requirements:
* PhD in Computer Science or related field.
* Strong theoretical background in machine learning and deep learning.
* Experience in developing machine learning and deep learning algorithms for dynamic systems.
* Proven expertise in scientific programming languages such as Python or R.
* Knowledge of Unix-based environments and collaborative software development.
Benefits:
* Full-time fixed-term contract until December 2025.
* Salary $110,059 to $117,718 per annum + 17% superannuation.
