Job Opportunity: Financial Administration & Project Support Support approximately 100 infrastructure projects in a 12-month temporary assignment with potential for extension, based on the Sunshine Coast. In this role, you will collaborate with Project Managers, utilizing software such as SAP, 3PCM, and SharePoint to manage financial aspects of infrastructure projects. You will be part of a team of AO3 Finance Officers overseeing around 500 projects at various stages, under the supervision of AO4 Program Support Coordinators and reporting to the Senior Finance Advisor. Your responsibilities include ensuring compliance with legislation and policies, managing financial documentation, tracking project finances, and providing early warnings for deviations. While this role involves general financial administration, experience in Accounts Payable is highly desirable. Key Tasks: Prepare and submit financial approvals through governance checks. Maintain tracking registers in Excel and SharePoint. Update project and contract details in Unifier, including creating contracts and entering estimates. Calculate and process QLeave payments. Process payments, including governance checks and approvals. Create and amend purchase requisitions. Prepare general journals. Maintain accurate records using DMS. Manage reports such as the Project Finalisation Workbook and Expenditure Commitments. Assist in project finalisation and administration of grants. Distribute incoming mail and provide training to Project Managers. Perform end-of-month duties, including reporting and forecasting support. Reconcile General Ledger for projects and participate in team meetings.
