**We seek an experienced F+B professional with excellent organisational and people skills to drive consistency and elevate the customer experience.**

The Greenhouse Restaurant is a contemporary hotel dining experience with a sophisticated feel. A fine wine cellar and lush greenery complement it. Bringing the outside in, the atrium fills with natural light daily and transitions to a stunning, softly lit setting by night, the perfect place to indulge.

Our busy function and events schedule is all year round, requiring support with coordination and delivery. This role will need someone with natural leadership skills on the floor, the ability to lead by example, direct traffic, and appease the guests.

Reporting directly to the Venue Manager, you'll work closely with the Assistant Manager, Functions Manager, Head Chef, and broader team to ensure a top-tier experience for our guests. Your role will also involve overseeing Greenhouse Restaurant and Functions staff and ensuring smooth, successful event execution.

Seeking an experienced duty manager or restaurant supervisor passionate about food, beverage, and service standards, an enthusiastic, detail-oriented professional who thrives in hospitality. Someone who loves creating unforgettable moments and has the energy, creativity, and multitasking ability to handle everything. A natural leader with strong communication skills and an ability to stay organised under pressure and work with various people.

**The Essentials**:

- Availability for five weekly shifts across a 7-day roster, with weekend and evening work expected.
- Experience in table service and functions (quieter weeks will include shifts as the Hotel DM).
- RSA certification and RP Badge
- Must live in or near Adelaide with Australian PR or citizenship.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead day-to-day operations of The Greenhouse Restaurant.
- Act as the key point of contact for restaurant and function staff, ensuring alignment with service standards.
- Lead by example on the floor, maintaining a calm, professional demeanour while directing traffic and managing guest experiences.
- Elevate the dining and event experience by maintaining consistency and exceptional service quality.
- Build rapport with guests, anticipate their needs, and respond promptly to feedback or concerns.
- Uphold the restaurant's sophisticated and welcoming ambience from day to night.
- Oversee F&B; teams, ensuring they are trained and motivated and delivering excellent service.
- Support and mentor staff to maintain a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Collaborate with the Venue Manager, Assistant Manager, Functions Manager, and Head Chef to deliver seamless service and event execution.
- Coordinate function and event logistics, ensuring timely setup, smooth service, and efficient pack-down.
- Monitor inventory and coordinate with suppliers to ensure sufficient stock for restaurants and events.
- Quickly resolve issues during service or events to ensure guest satisfaction and minimize disruption.
- Adapt plans and allocate resources as necessary to accommodate changing needs or unexpected challenges.
- Ensure adherence to food safety and workplace health and safety standards.
- Promote a safe working environment for all team members and guests.
