About the Role
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Boilermaker to join our team at the Beef City Feedlot in a full-time capacity.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this role is an integral part of a small, dedicated team responsible for the fabrication, repair and maintenance of feedlot and farm infrastructure.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and is passionate about contributing to the smooth operation of agricultural facilities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Reading and interpreting drawings
Fabrication, installation and repairs to machinery and infrastructure to a high standard
Cutting, shaping and joining metal components using welding, brazing and other metal working techniques
Ensuring finished products meet specifications
Collaborating with the supervisor to optimize workflows and troubleshoot issues
Maintaining a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all health and safety requirements
About You
Demonstrated proficiency in welding techniques such as MIG, TIG and stick welding
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve issues
Strong attention to detail and commitment to deliver high quality work
Good communication and team work skills
Ability to work safely and adhere to all relevant health and safety requirements
