Black Cat Syndicate Limited is offering an exciting opportunity for a Project Exploration Geologist to join our exploration team on a 2:2 FIFO roster, supporting field programs across our Tanami‐based project.

This is a hands‐on role for a geologist who enjoys being close to the work — from drill planning through to interpretation — and wants to see their efforts directly influence discovery and project progression.
You'll play a key role in the planning, delivery and interpretation of exploration programs across the project area. You'll take ownership of day‐to‐day field activities while working closely with technical and corporate teams to progress results.
This role offers a strong mix of field time, technical work and collaboration, with real accountability and visibility across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and execute exploration programs including drilling, mapping, sampling and geochemical surveys
* Supervise RC and/or diamond drilling programs, including logging, sampling and QA/QC
* Develop geological interpretations and drill targets to support exploration success
* Ensure exploration data is accurate, well documented and suitable for future resource and development work
* Complete project‐based geological work as required
About You
* A tertiary qualification in Geology or Earth Sciences
* Experience in mineral exploration, ideally within WA or the Northern Territory
* Strong RC and/or diamond drilling experience, including logging and sampling
* Familiarity with geological software such as Leapfrog, Micromine, Surpac or similar
* Experience working in remote FIFO exploration environments
* A collaborative approach, with the ability to work independently when required
