Personal Caregiver Job Description
Our organization is seeking a dedicated Personal Caregiver to provide high-quality care to residents in a Residential Aged Care Home.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and toileting support
* Collaborate with Enrolled & Registered Nurses to deliver exceptional clinical and personal care
Working Conditions: This role requires working in a dynamic residential aged care environment with frequent interactions with residents. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
* Hold a Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification
* Have basic medication administration knowledge (desired)
* Demonstrate understanding of resident rights and responsibilities
* Commitment to providing person-centered care that promotes the best possible life for older adults
