Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead and manage research and critical analysis of economic regulation across various utility industries. As Assistant Director, you will be responsible for leading and managing the planning and execution of major reviews and multifaceted projects, developing and delivering precise, evidence-based solutions and providing advice to stakeholders on complex issues.
Your role will involve researching, critically analysing complex information or data, and providing high-quality advice on complex economic, compliance, regulatory or legal matters. You will also engage with commissioners, senior level stakeholders and members of the public, applying your strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships.

Required Skills and Qualifications
* A tertiary qualification in economics, commerce, law, public policy or administration;
* A background in the regulation of essential services or utilities is highly regarded;
* A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field;
