We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Health, Safety and Environment Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our HSE team, you will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day compliance requirements of all HSE matters related to our labour hire operations.

This role is focused on providing support, coaching and advising to Team Leads, Account Managers and Recruitment Consultants in key risk activities in a labour hire environment. You will ensure the full and effective implementation of processes within the business to maintain compliance, building effective relationships with all key internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities Include:
">
">
* Mentor, coach and support the Toll People operations teams in key risk management activities such as customer workplace risk assessments (WRA) and compliance with customer risk management activities.
">
* Review the quality of information submitted by the sites into TRAC, including safety conversations, hazard identifications, corrective actions, incidents and investigations and person hours.
">
* Chair the monthly HSE meeting to drive safety outcomes and be a part of the Toll People Operational meetings.
">
* Drive compliance around incident and investigation processes, analyzing incidents for trends, ensuring preventative action is implemented and overseeing the quality of data entered into the TRAC.
">
* Conduct risk assessments onsite with Account managers, offer guidance and support throughout the process.
">
* Deliver Health and Safety function programs and any objectives rolled out from our Group HSE team.

Requirements:
">
To be successful in this role, you will need:
">
">
* Cert IV or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety and / or other relevant discipline.
">
* 1 - 3 years practical experience in a HSE role with a focus on transport, logistics, or labour hire activities.
">
* An understanding of business, issues and restraints faced by line managers in implementing HSE processes and programs.
">
* Experience in relationship management of both internal clients and external stakeholders.
">
* Sound knowledge of HSE legislation.
">
* Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility legislation.
">
* Experience in conducting incident investigations.
">
* Strong influencing and management skills.
">
* Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
">
* Sound time management skills.
">
* Competent computing skills, advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
