We are seeking a Casual Academic Mentor to join our team and provide tailored tutorial assistance to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
This is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of these students by mentoring them, guiding their academic success, and contributing to an inclusive learning environment.
As a Casual Learning Adviser, you will be responsible for providing personalised academic support to students studying STEPS, undergraduate, and postgraduate courses across various disciplines.
 * A relevant qualification at the level at which you are tutoring. i.e., a minimum bachelor's degree to tutor students studying within a Bachelor level course.
 * Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and societies, and the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities.
 * Currently hold or be eligible to obtain a Blue Card (Working with Children Positive Notice) to comply with the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 for regulated employment in education and care services.
