Your new role
* Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on Mobile Processing Units (MPUs), as well as a range of mobile and fixed plant equipment.
* Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical issues in a timely and efficient manner, both in the workshop and on-site.
* Respond to breakdowns and provide technical support in remote field locations.
* Work collaboratively within a team environment, while also demonstrating the ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
* Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with safety standards and company procedures.
* Maintain accurate service records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
* Assist in the commissioning of new equipment and provide feedback on performance and reliability.
What you'll need to succeed
* Cert III LV or HV Mechanic
* Previous experience maintaining MPUs / HR vehicles
* Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical - Highly Desirable
* QLD Explosive Security Clearance - or ability to obtain
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
* Have credible, contactable references
