We have an exciting new opportunity as a Lifeguard at Places Leisure. You will work in a fun, lively environment with likeminded people, help to inspire others to work together and deliver their very best.
A National Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) would be beneficial. If you are safety‑conscious, a competent swimmer and eager to gain valuable life skills, we will support you in achieving this qualification through our continuous learning and development opportunities.
There are many opportunities within Places Leisure. Starting your career as a Lifeguard is a great first step to routes including Operational Management, Sales, Fitness or Customer Service.
In the Lifeguard role we offer ongoing training & competency assessments, first‑aid training, swimming teacher qualifications and various apprenticeship routes.
More About You
• A National Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is essential.
* You will supervise our customers and other lifeguards using our swimming and pool facilities.
* You will act safely and hold responsibility for the health and safety of all pool users, overseeing the building's operations.
* You will have excellent attention to detail, ensuring the safety of our customers while they enjoy the facilities.
* You will deliver first‑class customer service, dealing with customers in a friendly and professional manner and going above and beyond to meet the highest standards.
* You will maintain first‑class cleanliness, acting when required.
